Garden Seasons

Fall is here. The pumpkins are turning orange, the corn awaits the harvest and the apples are sweet and delicious.

The summer garden brought many delights, from an overabundance of cucumbers to the surprising green peppers. Unfortunately for the tomatoes, lack of cover was no match to these rains and we lost a hefty crop. But–pickles fly off our shelf and the squash is off the hook, so we’ll call season number one a minor success.

The gigantic sunflowers look down upon autumn’s potential, as the little seedlings of spinach and chard begin to sprout. Let’s hope for a little sunshine to keep this party rolling.

Here’s to the Fall Gardens.  LOVE
