Set backs are a part of farming, a part of any project really.
We are dumping the dead plant pots, shadows of the nursery–an effort we began years ago. Dragging a project out leads to conflicting emotions; on one hand the time is discouraging, but on the other, we have a sense of completion.
Working perhaps too late in the day and after a constant NW rain….we end with one load removed, and two projects in it’s place. The ground in front of the Party Greenhouse reflects our first problem. Then after pushing the truck out with the tractor we ended up stuck in the muck at the back of the property. Oops!
At least the pots are underway…the ground will have to be repaired, but most of the black tarp will be removed & fields and gardens will come in their place.
