The list is endless. Prioritizing before the winter hit was nearly impossible. Everything needed love. Pruning, weeding, cutting, burning, just to start the clean-up. Now we can build. We are repairing greenhouses, building paths, burning blackberries and planting grass. The last bits of black plastic from the old nursery will cease to exist by the end of Spring. The layout is finally forming.
We will require pounds of grass seed and yards and yards of gravel. If all goes well…next summer will shine with hot house tomatoes and much less weeding!
While I miss the beaches of Bermuda, the snow capped mountains fill me with peace. It’s cold. Every farmer needs a moment to hibernate. Break time.
